The Aileron Hospitality ecosystem is the realization of a decades long pursuit: we reimagined how you and your family experience Yamhill County and the Pacific Northwest. Through thoughtfully crafted lodging, personalized experiences, and access to air travel, you can more easily explore and better understand the people and places that make this region extraordinary.
Founded by a lifelong pilot and entrepreneur with a legacy in immersive hospitality technology, Aileron was designed for travelers who value their time, their space, and meaningful moments with the people they love.

Born from sky and soil, Aileron is the vision of Ben and Laurel Powers, two lifelong lovers of travel, who build a hospitality brand inspired by the beauty and spirit of Yamhill County and the Pacific Northwest. What began as a love of flying, wine and exploring grew into a community of like-minded travelers wanting something different.
The Aileron name came from several years back. As a pilot, Ben wanted a name that reflected flying and the act of charting ones own course. The name represents agility and the ability to make choices that change your direction.
Our wines and those from the hundreds of vineyards around us tell the story of this place. Each bottle is a reflection of the valley’s character and the artistry of our winemakers working in partnership with soil, weather and a little bit of luck.
Aileron Hill Vineyard sits where the Dundee Hills, Ribbon Ridge and Yamhill-Carlton AVAs come together! It's a rare intersection that combines three distinct soils type and microclimates all in one place, creating something entirely unique.
There is no better way to understand the geography that makes this place possible than from above!
Our goal is to make aviation accessable and part of every guest experience.
Complimentary scenic flights from the McMinnville (KMMV) airport are offered weekly, as a guest amenity. Available local and regional excursions include day trips to Seattle, Walla Walla, The Redwood Forest and just about any other location of interest, each under 1 hour away.
